Our Chapter of the California Dressage Society is located in the beautiful and varied environs of Ventura County, encompassing a wide range of locales, from oceansides to mountains to agricultural land. The cities in our area include Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Fillmore, Piru, Camarillo, Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Moorpark, Somis, Saticoy, Santa Paula, Ojai, Oak View, Meiner's Oaks, Casitas Springs, and of course Ventura. We also have members from cities outside of our locale. We are fortunate to have many dressage trainers, as well as trainers from other disciplines, in our area, some of them world class, and we are never lacking for shows and clinics to attend. We are an active and growing organization. We have a Dressage Schooling Show Championship Series with lovely end-of-year prizes and trophies, and a wide variety of educational opportunities and clinics.
