We are glad you found our on-line home!
Our Chapter of the California Dressage Society is located in the beautiful and varied environs of Ventura County, encompassing a wide range of locales, from oceansides to mountains to agricultural land.
The cities in our area include Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Fillmore, Piru, Camarillo, Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Moorpark, Somis, Saticoy, Santa Paula, Ojai, Oak View, Meiner's Oaks, Casitas Springs, and of course Ventura. We also have members from cities outside of our locale.
We are fortunate to have many dressage trainers, as well as trainers from other disciplines, in our area, some of them world class, and we are never lacking for shows and clinics to attend.
We are an active and growing organization. We have a Dressage Schooling Show Championship Series with lovely end-of-year prizes and trophies, and a wide variety of educational opportunities and clinics. Attention Ventura County Chapter Trainers and Riders!!
Your Ventura County Chapter of CDS wants to create a program which would benefit both our local trainers and dressage riders!
In keeping with CDS's idea for 2012 of going
BACK TO OUR ROOTS
we are asking local, up-and-coming dressage trainers to donate 4-6 hours of their time to our Chapter for a low-cost riding clinic to our members. This opportunity will only be available to
Ventura County Chapter members!
How will this benefit our trainers?
Exposure and an opportunity to meet prospective clients
and show off what you and your facility has to offer!
How will this benefit our members?
$25 lessons with our very own local trainers!
How does this benefit our Chapter?
Your $25 goes towards more programs such as...
the CDS Amateur Clinic, sending a Chapter Representative to the CDS Annual Meeting,
our Schooling Show Series Prizes, and many more events that we hope to bring to our members!
