NEWS FLASH! Our monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of each month have been moved to Marie Callendar's on Daily Drive near Las Posas in Camarillo. All are welcome!
We are glad you found our on-line home! Our Chapter of the California Dressage Society is located in the beautiful and varied environs of Ventura County, encompassing a wide range of locales, from oceansides to mountains to agricultural land. The cities in our area include Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Fillmore, Piru, Camarillo, Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Moorpark, Somis, Saticoy, Santa Paula, Ojai, Oak View, Meiner's Oaks, Casitas Springs, and of course Ventura. We also have members from cities outside of our locale. We are fortunate to have many dressage trainers, as well as trainers from other disciplines, in our area, some of them world class, and we are never lacking for shows and clinics to attend.
We are an active and growing organization. We have a quarterly newsletter, Hoof Prints (click on Newsletter above), a Dressage Schooling Show Championship Series with lovely end-of-year prizes and trophies, and educational opportunities and clinics (please look at the Events page for our calendar of shows and clinics, and information on our Championships). Show premiums and other forms can be found on our Links/Forms page, as well as links to other related sites. There is also a Visitor Feedback Form so you can communicate questions, comments or suggestions, or if you would like to request e-mail notice about changes to the website or upcoming events. We have a Junior/Young Rider page that is currently under construction and be sure to check out our Photo Album page for our growing photo album of members (please submit photos to the webmistress whose contact information is at the bottom of this page or click on Contact on the console above). Monthly chapter meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM (7:00 PM if you would like to have dinner before the meeting) at Marie Callendar's Restaurant located on Daily Drive near Las Posas in Camarillo. All are welcome to attend!
